About Me.
Hi, I’m Aura! I’m the founder of Your Lactation Journey—but more importantly, I’m a mom of four who’s been exactly where you are now. I’m a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with over 12 years of pediatric and lactation experience. My background includes working as a bedside RN in pediatric critical care (PICU & NICU) and as a pediatric nurse practitioner providing 1:1 lactation support in the clinic setting. Supporting breastfeeding families has always been at the heart of my work. As a mom of four—twins first, then two singletons 18 months apart—all born with tongue ties and short NICU stays, I understand first hand the challenges, learning curves, and triumphs of breastfeeding. My own journey taught me that every feeding experience is different, and sometimes it’s far from “natural” in the beginning. I believe every feeding journey is unique, and there’s no one “right” way—it’s about finding what works best for you and your baby. I’m here to support, teach, & embrace you in yours and your baby’s breastfeeding journey.
